Unless otherwise specified, each of the following matters was contested on liability and/or damages, the opposing parties were represented, the matters involved complex legal and/or factual issues, and the attorneys were successful in collecting the amounts stated. $3,000,000 - Premises Liability/Contractor Negligence - settlement for woman seriously injured by fall in home with construction defect.

Confidential Amount - Product Liability/Denture Cream - case resolved for an undisclosed amount with an undisclosed manufacturer for serious neurological injuries caused by an excess of zinc in denture cream.

$1,600,000 -  Participating counsel for group settlement for injury and wrongful death of passengers resulting from miniature train wreck at Cleveland Park in Spartanburg.  Grimes Teich Anderson represented a minor injured in the wreck and her mother who received a portion of the total settlement.  Other attorneys represented other members of the train passengers.

$1,500,000 - Product Liability/Fire injury - settlement for injuries and deaths resulting from home fire.

$1,320,000 - Premises Liability Case - verdict for visitor injured by a dangerous condition at a place of business suffered fractured pelvis. Last offer before trial was $20,000. Same client received significant workers compensation settlement. Verdict was successfully protected on appeal.

$350,000 - Automobile Accident - settlement for elderly gentleman with multiple internal injuries as a result of at fault driver running a red light.

$318,000 - South Carolina Workers' Compensation - settlement for a man seriously injured when he fell from a tower while working in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

$200,000 - South Carolina Workers' Compensation - settlement for a man who suffered a spinal cord injury when he fell while working in Gaffney, South Carolina.

$50,000 - Negligent Handling of Deceased - award to mother of deceased girl against the State of North Carolina, where the State had lost the deceased daughter's remains.

$24,902 - Automobile Accident/Chiropractic Care - verdict in wreck case for $19,900. Last offer from Allstate was $11,000, total recovered including costs and interests was $24,902.

**Except for Employment Law Cases, Attorney’s fees are a percentage of the entire recovery and will be deducted before other expenses. In addition to the fee in these cases, Client will be responsible for litigation expenses, which will either be deducted from the recovery or paid by the client. Some Employment Law Cases may be handled on a contingent fee basis and others handled on an hourly basis, where the client is billed for the hours spent on the case. Based on our experience, we will advise you of the most appropriate fee arrangement in Employment Law cases.
